There are three primary errors that most often appear when there is a problem with logging in:
"Incorrect”
- Usually, simple mistake or a problem with the keyboard
- Check the username (double-check; capital or lower-case doesn't matter for the username)
- Re-type password (double-check; capital letters MUST be capitalized, lower-case letters MUST be lowercase)
- Don’t forget: the format = FirstnameLastname (your first and last name as it would appear in Skyward, with no spaces in-between)
“No logon servers”
- Usually no network (cable unplugged, wireless not connecting)
- Check cable (both ends); look for a wireless indicator light (is wireless turned off?)
- Often, wireless connection takes a couple minutes to connect upon the first time powering on a device in the morning, so, sometimes, we just try to log in too quickly
“Trust relationship”
- Usually a problem with the network name of the computer
